Transdisciplinary Workshops has been providing live, high-quality training in child/adult development and mental health issues since 1995. Although, we believe that in-person continuing education is an important component of professional growth, we are committed to keeping our training opportunities going virtually during the current pandemic.

Our goal is to make quality programs available to practitioners and families from the East Coast to the West Coast, and any states in between.

We are a family business dedicated to hosting nationally known speakers who bring cutting edge information to professionals interested in enhancing their work with children and adults

We aim to bring a variety of professional disciplines together to receive training and to discuss common issues together.

We offer a majority of our workshops at two historic inns in Maine.  The Harraseeket Inn is a family owned, luxury inn located in Freeport, Maine.  It provides  an aesthetically pleasing  conference room with large windows and garden views.  The Inn located within one block of L. L. Bean and a short distance from the beautiful cost of Maine.  The Inn supports Maine’s local farmers and fishermen and offers a delicious farm to table luncheon to conference participants.

The Regency Hotel in Portland, Maine, is located in the Old Port harbor district surrounded by great entertainment , art galleries, local shops and taverns with nearby access to the islands of Casco Bay.  The Hotel offers a full service spa as well as indoor and outdoor eateries.  In the last few years, this coastal city has emerged as one of the country’s finest dining scenes.

In order to reach our West Coast audience, we have recently begun to offer workshops in Portland, Oregon. The city, with a growing population of over 600,000 people, has six public school districts, many private schools, as well as public and private colleges and universities.  Visitors enjoy Portland’s many unique public gardens, the 315 miles of “bike ways”,  the famous Powell’s Bookstore, and the close proximity to the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.

We encourage requests to hear our speakers from all States.
